On March 26th, CONTEC, a first-generation startup leading the space industry in South Korea, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Hanwha Systems Co., Ltd.
The agreement aims to establish mutual cooperation and strategic collaboration to enhance synergy across various business sectors, starting with the utilization of ground stations related to low-earth orbit satellites.
Sunghee Lee, CEO of CONTEC, expressed his ambition to maximize the synergistic effects between CONTEC, which provides total solutions covering the value chain of the space industry, and Hanwha Systems, known for its advanced defense electronics and IT smart technologies. He emphasized their joint effort to build core solutions for the NewSpace era.
